Installing KDE on Gentoo

I've tried and tried, but whatever I do, I always get an error message that says that the startkde command could not be found.

I'm trying "emerge -Du kde-meta", so hopefully the extra -D will work, but if someone has any idea about what I did wrong, please tell me.
