I called some computer hot lines etc etc and they said this *shadow* or *blur effect* that can be seen to the right in each picture is caused by my graphics card going out.
Does that sound about right according to the pictures? Please help! Need your input!

All of the fuzziness is real life. That is what it actually looks like. What would cause that fuzziness?

If you have an old video card/integrated port, switch your monitor to that and then see if the blur is still there. If it is, then it's not your video card, it it's not, then you card is busted.

If the video card is fried on my motherboard, because that's the one I'm using; will that cause any other damage?

Unless your card physically or visibly damaged, your other stuff should be fine.

That looks like it could also be a monitor problem, do you have another monitor that you can hook up?

Spoiler for Everything else:

A Kid asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?" and Jesus said. "This much."
And spread his arms out on the cross and died.
If you believe that he did this for you put this in your signature.

That looks very similar to what one of my old monitors did before it died. It was a CRT though.

I can't tell from your pics if you have an LCD or CRT.

I'm not sure if that kind of effect could happen as a result of a LCD monitor problem, so if you have an LCD I too would blame the graphics card.

It's not the monitor. I hooked it up to another computer and it was fine.

LCD Flat Screen, yeah I'm blaming the graphics card. But I don't have one, so I'm blaming the default one that comes with the computer, right? Do many people use their default graphics card?
