Two unrelated problems

I can't get the computers in my house to network and I can't log into my blog/forums (they're on the same server)

Are all your computers on the same workgroup and the same subnet?

I don't remember how to change the workgroup on XP but the network setup wizard can probably walk you through it, all computers should also be on "Obtain an IP address automatically" unless they need to be set differently.
