Microsoft Word

My word is messed up. If I select text and press the backspace button the cursor just moves to the first character of the selection. It's exactly the same result as selecting some text and just pressing the left arrow button.

THis also happens for selecting text and trying to type a different sentence. I select text, enter any key (except delete which still removes the text) and it just go to the first character of my selection and shows the characters I was typing.

Is it just in Word or other applications as well?

If it's just Word, try either something like Open Office or reinstall Word.

Weird that I posted in Tech Talk, I could swear I was in Troubleshooting...
Anyways it's only in Word. I've just checked outlook and when I'm composing a message it works fine. And from what I know it practicly uses the same editor as Word.

Open office is the answer, it's better imo and free
