Burning CDs

Well I want to burn a couple of songs onto CD's, but I can't. Windows Media Player 11 says I need to connect a CD Burner although it's already built into my computer. Help please.

Have you tried using any other applications to do it, like Nero?
I've only ever used WMP to burn CDs on a computer at school because they didn't have any other software available. It's not a great choice of application for CD burning since it's comparably quite slow.

I would try using Nero, it's the best in my opinion.

Wow, Neros is great, I love it.

Although how do I import music from files? The only music I can get is from WMP.

Edit: Actually, please teall me about the whole thing. Mainly focusing on music. I'm already kinda confused with it, although it is a great program.

Different Skins
Different Backgrounds
How to burn and imprt music
How to listen to web radio
What else can this thing do.

Elaborate, please.

How do you mean the only music you can get is from WMP?

You should just be able to click on the "Add" button and add whatever files you want. This is Nero Express in the first two screenshots, then the more advanced Nero Burning ROM which is essentially the same thing but with more bells and whistles. I prefer Express because it's more lightweight.

For your other questions...

Different skins and backgrounds I haven't messed with too much, and I'm assuming you mean for StartSmart. Unfortunately it's not too flexible, but you can try changing some of these options...

Haven't done anything with web radio, so I wouldn't know how that works.
Nero Home looks like quite a decent media centre..? But again I haven't played with it too much. I'm not exactly a Nero expert.
