BIOS Update Help

Well my computer has crashed about 6 times in this 2 hour time period and it is getting me angry. I read the reason why and it said the solution was to get a BIOS upgrade. How to I upgrade BIOS?

To upgrade your BIOS, find out the exact make and model of your motherboard, then go to the manufacturer's website and find the upgrade package. You'll probably need a floppy disk or blank CD handy.

Before you do that, though, detail further the nature of the crash. Do you get Blue Screen Of Death, or does your comp just stop? Have you dont anything like overclock your processor? Is your fan working? And has this ever happened before?
