well, i bought a new modem..( im dial up user :() .. and wen i dial, it just makes a fuzzy noise thing.. so, i thought that one was broken. then, i went and bought another one. that one had the same problem. could this be because of my phoneline? computer hardware problems? its prevented me from playing runescape :( :(.

Have you checked all the simple things that could be causing this?

Loose wires
The Connections for the wires
Phoneline

Someone else may be able to give you a detailed run down on this problem so i suggest you check back here regularily

You should be able to phone the telephone company and get them to test the line. If the line is causing problems, they will fix it for you.
