How can i play itunes music that had is MPEG Layer 3 Audio format on Ubuntu Linux

Applications -> Add/Remove Programs

Under multimedia, install Gstreamer plugins, or anything that looks like it has something to do with Gstreamer plugins.

Close add/remove programs.

Install the Automatix installer from here or here if you're using 64-bit Ubuntu. Install it, then run it, and install the non-free and restricted multimedia codecs.

Reboot.
