Is it possible to set upa keylogger via mail? without using attachment or linK?

and does reformatting computer cleans up the keylogger? how do u stop it cause i think i might have one

you cant get a keylogger without downloading/opening anything.

Reformatting your computer will clean everything off your hard drive, you will want to back everything up that you need to and have a firewall and anti virus program ready to be installed before you connect it to the internet.

You should also download Windows XP Service Pack 2 before hand so you can have that installed too, here's the page:

This is the best place to get it. Get it here even though they say not to. Download it before you reformat and have it ready to install when you are done. (Burn to CD)

try norton anti virus it cleans or adware se pesonal free to use and it cleans up uneccery files in ur computer

no kidding, I feel most unsafe when i have those..

Is there any programs i can use to clean up keyloggers now?before reformmating(cause i'm not planning on reformatting)

No, that is just in case you reformat. I don't see why Windows Update would not ahve already downloaded it. It is the latest windows updates all in one file.

Cleaning up? I use spybot before, for now, YAHOO antiSpy.
The anti virus program i use cleans up torjans, its protector plus.
If you download the trial version, I can give you the register code and name(if its allowed on here)

As for giving the register code that is not permitted here since we do not endorce the stealing of software. So I recomend you do it somewhere it's not monitoried.

I knew it, lol, but rocket, the free trial version works the same as the regular one's
