Trying to add an avatar

When I add the url to the avatar and press submit in my profile the page just reappears again and there is an empty box at the top. Can someone help?

umm, what format do you got on your picture?
if its .bmp then thats probably the problem.

Check your size also, thought I think the system will resize it for you.

Well its one that says that I am a black member. When I save it it saves as a JPEG. I'll try again though in a different format.

Also I know that it is in the right size.

I found out what was wrong. I was using the wrong code in the avatar code imput box.

Also now instead of black member it is mithril member=]
