Issues with wireless internet. NEED URGRENT HELP!!!!!

Today My computer and family computer experienced internet issues.
Let Me explain our internet set-up.
We use a comcast high speed moduem, its hooked up to a netgear wireless router.(By a cable)
Then our family's family computer is hooked up to the router. (by a cable)
Then my computer is connects through wi-fi.
Now we got the family computer's internet working,but my computer still connects to the router.
But it cant access the web.
Strangest thing is that windows live messenger and skype work fine and I can im people and call ppl.
So if you can help, that'll help.
(Also the family computer uses xp and my computer uses vista)

Only time that sort of thing happened to me was using p2p file sharing, hogging all the bandwidth from the browser but letting MSN go through. If you're downloading anything then that might be causing it, particularly in uTorrent there's a setting which stops it working properly.

If not then all I can suggest is plugging a cable into your computer, selecting the wireless and wired connection in networks via control panel then right click and "bridge connections" while both are connected. It may or may not help. Hope it does
