Computer not recognizing Micro Sd card?

Problem solved please lock.
Found out my mom had a USB converter that she was using earlier and it's showing up with that.

I bought a memory card to be used for my phone (so I could add music to my phone). After getting home I put the small card into the adapter to be plugged into my computer. (theirs a small port on my computer labeled MMC/SD)

When I plug the card into the port, my computer doesn't recognize it. I checked under my computer to see if it was under "Drives with removable storage" and it didn't appear there.

Have you tried just putting it into the phone, then connecting the phone+card combo up using the phone's USB cable?

the phone didn't come with a usb cable. Looks like Ill have to buy one then :/
