Nooby question..

I just figured out how to make a simple sig on GIMP 2 and I'm having problems uploading it. It is currently saved as a ".xcf" and photobucket doesn't like it and won't upload it.
What do I need to do to upload it? Which websites like photbucket etc. use that format? I NEED to show my simplistic signature to the bnb community, I'm proud of it.

I have not used gimp so I would not know but when you save you should have the option to save out in severely file formats if you can't you can get A program to convert it but tbh I'd just take A screen cap of it =D a nooby way to do it but easy!! and works ever time.

File -> Save as... and then change the .xcf on the end of it's name to .png

And then upload it.

Yes, File-> Save As change the .xcf to .png click on save and then click on export if it asks you what to do about multiple layers and click on OK for the png settings. I think thats all.

Are you clicking "Save As..." and selecting PNG or JPEG from the File Type drop down menu?
