So i upgraded my RAM a while ago. After i had done that, i opened the computer. It just beeps three times and keeps on running, but nothing is appearing on the screen. (Yes the screen is on.) I removed the exterior RAM cards and checked if all cords are okay, but still it does that. Halp pls? D:

I've had this happen before and the problem was that the GPU overheated. At that time I was a computer noob and thought it was caused by playing too much RuneScape. XD

Check your graphics card for any melted soldering.

You need to look up the light/beep codes for your computer's model. You can use Google to find that. After you find out why it's beeping, you'll be able to have a better idea of why your computer won't start.

Proabably mismatched ram, or if its a Compaq 4 Beeps are usually Motherboard failure.

Too bad my computer is built.

However i noticed it was three beeps. I edited it now.

EDIT: According to http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000996.htm it seems to be a RAM problem. I'll try to do what it says.

In which case you'd look up the beep/light codes for your motherboard.

I can almost guarantee you its a memory problem, Try removing your RAM and then blowing on the RAM socket (Or you could use compressed air) to clean it from dust and then do the same with the RAM stick once done put your RAM stick back in firmly and make sure that it is fully seated in the socket. Power up the computer and see what happens.

Spoiler for Everything else:

A Kid asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?" and Jesus said. "This much."
And spread his arms out on the cross and died.
If you believe that he did this for you put this in your signature.
