Here's a few key criteria of mine and how they work for me in each browser.

FirefoxOpera
RuneScapeDoesn't work well, freezes for about a minute when advertisements loadWorks well, barely freezes when advertisements load
Jamendo (a free music website I use a lot)Everything works just fineThe music player doesn't work at all (although this might get fixed)
SizeBigger - just because of XULRunnerQuite small
SpeedQuite fast, but may freeze easilyFaster than Firefox, doesn't have problems with objects
CrashingCrashes rarely, but from no apparent reasonCrashes every time I try to export settings from Thunderbird (e-mail doesn't work anyway), but didn't crash in other cases so far
Ease of useI'm used to it, but it's quite easy to use by itselfEasy to use, except the RSS reader

So, anyone can advice me on which one I should I use and how? I don't want to switch from that to that and back again all the time.

FF, rs doesn't freeze as much if you keep yourself to 2-3 tabs, and if you got good ram, probably 5-7 will get you whitescreened after a while.
Ehm, I'd say FF, again.

I've never had issues playing RS in Firefox, even with a lot of tabs open. Same goes with the speed problems you're having. The only roadblock I do have is that Firefox is rubbish at handling PDFs and it'll freeze due to that.

The problem is, it still freezes when I only have one RuneWire tab and minimized foobar2000 running.
Also, I have 256 megabytes of RAM. That's at least four times less than most computers today, but it's twice more than the minimum RAM required to run RuneScape at high detail (and it freezes on low detail, too).
For now I'll be sticking to Opera for playing RuneScape, but I don't want to switch browsers all the time. Anyone has other suggestions/browsers?

Whatever works for you there. One thing about RS's minimum requirements: they don't account for the fact that Java itself is laggy. All I can really recommend is that you buy some more RAM. It's not hard to install, it's cheap, and it really makes a difference.

Nice to see you back, Litis :D

Yeah, I guess all I can do about this is buy more RAM... and dust my computer's case. I can already imagine seeing a happy family of spiders living there.
As for me being back, I'll try to hang around without disappearing as much as I can.

I seem to be getting Error Reports with Firefox whenever I start it. So I'm using Opera. It's okay though...

But I prefer Firefox.
