Wildcard factor We've already stated that we don't want to introduce any wildcard elements like the Force, or the Q Continuum, or the Jedi Knights, or Species 8472 into this conflict. Just to keep things more clean, we're sticking to the more conventional forces of the respective universes.

Well you can obviously tell my side to this whole idea. I know what side is right and what one would win. Whats the point of fast travel if you can't maneuver? Anyways the ingenuity of star fleet ship commanders, things such as the riker maneuver or the picard maneuver. As for light sabers vs phasers, the phaser can take an enemy out from far away. Whereas the light saber you need direct contact. Un less they can magically extend. Anyways again I think we know who won.
