Obviously i know theres hundreds of hockey fans on here so who do you think will win the cup this year?

Can't comment too much on the western teams as I've been watching mostly eastern. For the east at least I'd bet on rangers. Penguins look tough but them and the flyers are facing up in the first round and that's not going to end pretty. It'd be nice to see the Bruins get it a second year running just to **** off Vancouver but there not as good as last season.

Be nice for all Canadian, Vancouver or Quebec vs Ottawa.

WHY IS OTTAWA IN THE PLAYOFFS. Anyhow Vancouver vs Ottawa, Vancouver win in game 6 @ Ottawa so I can go down to scotiabank place at 6 pm that night and buy tickets. (I don't think you could but it's funny since like 6 years ago in the second round of the playoffs my uncle was able to do that)

MY TOTALLY BASELESS PLAYOFF TREE

Ottawa & NYR - > NYR
Washington & Boston -> Boston
NJD & Florida -> NJD
Philadelphia & Pittsburgh -> Pittsburgh

NYR & NJD -> NYR
Boston & Pittsburgh -> Pittsburgh

NYR & Pittsburgh
NHL 12's simulator said Pittsburgh would win the cup so I guess they have to advance??

LAK & Vancouver -> Vancouver
San Jose & St Louis -> San Jose
Chicago & Quebec -> Quebec
Detroit & Nashville -> Detroit

Vancouver & San Jose -> Vancouver
Quebec & Detroit -> Detroit

Vancouver & Detroit
Vancouvey advance

Who wants to bet squeal spins

I don't really follow or know much about NHL, but I do know I would love my hometown Bruin's to repeat :D

I'm not big into hockey either or much sports besides auto racing.
But when I do watch I only watch Bruins.
Boston's my home team to so would love to see them win a consecutive cup.

Now I think they have a good shot if Tuuka Rask can start playing again, Tim Thomas wont be able to do it alone, and what ever the other goalie's name is.. but he isn't good.

I'm a Flyers fan and I would love to see them win the cup, but I really just don't see it happening. I do think they will beat PIT in 6 games but after chances are they will lose to Boston, and if somehow they beat them the Rangers will destroy the Flyers like they have every time this regular season. As for who makes it from the West i'm thinking Canucks, Red Wings or the Blues or maybe even Chicago pull something off since i'm pretty certain they will beat the Coyotes. But who knows, hopefully Bryzgalov can get hot and the Flyers can make a run like two years ago. :D

I dunno. Boston seem to be fine. There winning there series and playing a tight defence game. They've pretty much shut ovechkin down...well except for game 3. That's what they always do. In fact there series seems to be the most tame out of the lot. :lol: Besides NJ/Florida i suppose but i don't care about either of those teams.

No **** idea whats going on with the penguins. That's a **** meltdown. Sure wasn't hockey being played in game 3. Was entertaining though. I hope they win there next game so the series can keep going. I want a game 6 please. I think both sides are going out when they come up against new york/boston though. You wont score much against them and frankly the flyers defence has been almost as crappy as the penguins.

And finally GO LA. Never had them down to sweep vancouver but it's looking likely. :D

Yes i've seen a lot of games. I have a week off and it's raining. Also no life.

Or not. ;]

I really hope this goes to game 7. It's been the most entertaining series so far. You've got Crosby declaring he doesn't like anyone on there team. And you've got giroux claiming he doesn't like any of there fans and proved it yesterday. :lol:

Red wings are out and i don't think anybody cares.

REVISED OF WEST

St Louis vs LAK -> LAK
Quebec vs Nashville -> Quebec

Capitals really helped out the Flyers last night, the best "seeded" team the Flyers could face now in the second round are the Florida Panthers.

Kings really seem on a roll. I can see them in the finals. Question is will it be against the flyers or rangers? I'm still betting rangers. Flyers defence just isn't up to it.
