Final episode of LOST

What are your interpretations?

Well if you look 6 posts down you'll see theres already a topic on this. But I'll put this here anyway.

Every idiot on the internet right now is crying and claiming it to be a brilliant ending. And I'm left scratching my head and wondering if the world is **** insane.

RIGHT where do i begin theres spoilers below so sdfuandgoaway if you don't want it ruined.



Lets just get this out the way if you never watched the show heres how it went;
Some dudes crash on an island, go through several years of filler that doesn't really matter at all, find out the plane crashed becaue they was candidates to take over from this dude called Jacob in running the island but not running it no your protecting a magical light bulb at the center of the island instead because if anything happens to the light something terrible happens.

Protect it From what?What terrible thing will happen? Dunno.

ANYWAY turns out all those people didnt need to be forced there and didnt need to die cause Jacob just gives it to anyone who wants it and the first thing this new caretaker does is send a guy down into the magical light bulb room and he pulls a big **** cork out the ground and the light goes out. Nothing happens really so they was protecting a light that does nothing, so they crashed on this island, went through all that so they could become a care taker for a light that doesn't do anything. Oh it makes the island sink..which in the grand scheme of things means diddly **** because the island only has a lightbulb on it and that's not important.

But they cry a lot so they decide they can't let the island sink so heres the best bit, even tho the light has been released and thus damage done (or not done cause it did nothing) they clime down into the bulb room and put the cork back in. And wala. Fixed. Easy as lemon pie. Then they go to heaven.
