WEEE. Came back today! And it would seem it's in safe hands. I would hope I'm not the only one who watched it or the following is going to sound like a sad dorks ramblings.

So the shows been completeely reworked, new doctor, new sidekick, new tardis, new theme tune..everything. Also looks to have much better special effects..tho prisoner Zero did look a bit daft in his normal form..but that's how the show tends to be.

The eleventh doctor is very much taking on tennants personality..which to me is slightly disapointing the whole point of regeneration is that they return new, changed. But I suspect he'll come into his own as the season goes on..it's a good start. Hes likeable and his sidekicks not to bad.

The new head seems to be doing a good job running the show..tho it's not a surprise as he was responsible for some of the better new who episodes.

I know theres some Americans who watch the show and wont get to see the new episode for a week or so but it's IMO it's just as bizzare, cheesey, dorky, lame and absolutely fantastic as ever. The only show that can have a rather ugly guy wear a bowtie and still remain epic. :D

Hell you only have to look at the episodes coming up to see that..we've just had Galactic police trying to destroy the earth, we've got Earth in the distant future next week..where the UK has been relocated to space and then later the Darleks pop up alongside winston churchill hopefully to kill some nazies. Also got the weeping angels coming back, what looks like the cybermen andd vampires oddly enough. No other show can boast such insanity.

Oh..and best soundtrack so far.

I like the new Doctor, but wasn't overall impressed by the first episode- hope the series picks up a bit.

Ayee the storyline was weak but the acting saved it.

It's always poor when there bringing in a new sidekick tho nevermind a new doctor.

I have to say that's what saves most of the crappy plots.

Still haven't seen the episode because in my country we're like one whole season late :( :( :( ...

I was away for the weekend but we had it in Sky+ so I just watched it. I thought overall it was a decent episode, I like the new doctor I think he was quite funny and I definitely won't mind watching a couple of seasons with this new sidekick in ;).

When she first showed up in the police outfit and i saw how short that skirt was i raised an eyebrow I've got to admit. XD I had to ask myself if the BBC was trying to add some *** appeal to the show cause I've never seen a police woman dressed like that! It never did click till they explained what she was.

Didn't think much of yesterdays episode tbh, not nearly enough of anything going on really, it seemed to be over quite quickly with not much investigation or action. I hope the quality of the episodes improve.

Spoiler for spoilerlolface:

the space whale was cool though

I thought it was alright..you're correct though it was over very quickly when i saw there was only 15 minutes left i was surprised because very ltitle had happened i thought the clock was wrong. Again tho matt smith was fantastic. The next episode can go either way..i really wish they'd stop bringing the darleks back for every season there really not anything interesting anymore cause they've over used them.
