legalization or marajuanna? thoughts?

OK i have recently been told be friends that they smoke weed, so that made me curious as to how many people want it legalized post thoughts and reasons for your particular vote if you feel compelled to do so

Anyone who has been to Amsterdam can tell you that it is a scary place. I visited that town for a few days, and it was very strange. We went to a restaurant there, and everyone sat there staring in the distance with a depressed look on their face. We'd walk down the street, passing a few "coffee shops" and I remember a man walking up to me (joint in hand) and started dancing and making all these strange noises.

I think that the drug may be used for medical purposes only.

I think that it would be better if the substance was concentrated into a pill or a liquid somehow, and then given to the patient so they don't know they're taking marijuana.

i agree to an extent, but when there's other alternatives available why use it? i personally think it should not be legalized at all

Legalize it and tax the hell out of it. Screw morality, let people decide if they want to do it or not, but if people decide they do want to do it they should pay the state handsomely for the privelege.

Care to reason why Dokter Bob? It wasn't intended to be comical. If not, cut the spammy posts and stick to the topic.

And Assassin, taxing something means when it's sold a certain 'duty' amount is payed to the government, generally a % of the sale price. As is the case with Alcohol and Tobacco.

I toally agree with Brad... But if anybody close to me started smoking it then I would probably change my tune.. My uncle commuted suicide because he was paranoid from heavy usage, I really would want to go through that again.

on the contrary my dad was on cannabis, and he quit and never went onto anything harder, though he did tell me he accidently took LSD i never bothered to ask him why
