Mike Tyson's Daughter (Who is 4) Died

I'm not one to post these news articles, but since I saw this on the MSN homepage, I decided that I should. It's a pretty sad story.

I just have to say one thing - why would you even let your four year-old child near a treadmill anyway?

EDIT: Kulla summed up what I wanted to say, pretty much. It could have been easily avoided if the mom could have been watching her a bit closer. I'd be traumatized if I found one of my sisters hanging on a treadmill. Poor kid.

It's sad that a child died so young, regardless of who the father might have been, but whoever was taking care of her should have been watching her a little more closely. I feel sorry for her 7 year old brother who found her. Mom should have been paying more attention to her kids. This was a tragedy that could have been avoided.

Yes but honestly, who follows their children around everywhere to check what they are doing? If they are in their own home, they know their surrounding so there is no need to constantly watch them.

I guess it's just one of them unforunate events, albeit saddening.

Very true, but if they did know their surroundings, Mom would have known that putting a 4 year old in a room with exercise equipment is never a good idea.

This is quite a bad turn of events. Pretty unfortunate for the child

Also if you aren't using your treadmill and you have little kids around the house, you should probably just unplug it or something.
