Ukraine in NATO?

No way, they don't belong there, with Georgia, they're not worth it, most of them live like animals.
I've had a phonecall with my relatives there, and they say that no one, except the government wants to join NATO. Breaking bands with Russia Would be VERY bad for Ukraine and Europe (bye gas). Bush is a provocative moron, he wants to isolate Russia and to make it hard for his successors to maintain peace.
Anyone has an opinion about this?

Against it, and so is my family, nothing more to say, and yes it will cut off major gas supply.

Edit- and NATO sucks with their standards.

I'm not really understanding - how is this bad for Europe? Most of Europe is apart of NATO.

Russia is threatening to close the gas crane, which would mean a quarter lossof energy, which is bad. Plus the Relations with Rusiia are important to Europe.

Hm i see. While i can see the gas might be a problem (although not one that would last for long i suspect) i think relations with Europe are more important to Russia than they are to Europe right now, i don't think theres much to worry about.

Kinda bad for Russia, there getting a bit of a rough time.

I agree with you on this. Ukraine can't burn bridges, no matter how much they dislike their Russian neighbours.
