Need help on Kingdom Hearts 2...

Ok, well, I am on one of the final bosses in Kingdom Hearts 2, and that boss is Xigbar (the dude with the eyepatch, two needler-type guns, and a bad attitude).

I get to the point where he basically surrounds you with lasers and turns you into swiss cheese. Then, well, I die. Any ideas? :-k

Hmm i already beat him in standard and expert mode. Well what i would do is
when he does that laser thingy turn into master form or any form cause when you use your forms you heal.

Athieism, do you mean the part with warp snipe? Or the part at the beginning when he snipes you? Because I can get past those parts.

Hmm if your still stuck heres a tip.

Xigbar begins the battle by sniping from distant platform. Use the Break/warp snipe reaction commands to hit the beams back at him. Once Xigbar returns to the stage, use reflect magic to return various shots back at him. Take control of the camera and lock on to keep track of him as he teleports around.

Xigbar uses his magic to change the stage's shape. Return his shots with a reflect spell, then run up to attack him while he is dazed. Limit attacks and valor form are extremely useful here. If you have obtained "final form" and its level is comparable to Valor's, use it instead. Use the reaction commands whenever possible, too. With a series of warp snipe reactions, you can knock back his large blue beam attack. Watch for small black portals to appear; he fires through these to attack from odd angles. You can't knock back the shots at Xigbar, but you can reflect them to prevent damage. Keep moving to avoid his attacks when he teleports dirctly overhead.

Well the main thing to worry about here, is you can't rush this battle. It takes alot of time.

What you want to do is use your own fighting combinations against him, plus the triangle button. He'll shape around the battlefield alot, but it's not really much to worry about. Use the triangle reactions when he fires a largle laser shot to hit them back at him. This is pretty important because at this point he'll move around alot.

Once his health is at something like 2 bars or so, he'll summon you onto a small square platform. Right before he starts attack, you'd better cast Cure because you're going to take a serious amount of damage if you get hit once. How to avoid that is to just run around in circles and pray you don't get hit.

Xigbar isn't that much of a threat, it just takes alot of time. Just learn to dodge his attacks and you'll win.

Yeah, I meant the warp snipes... So, what exactly is he doing? Do you mean those invisible walls, where the floor has the holes in it? Then, you just have to go around the holes and attack him.

Yay! I beat him! I actually opened up the Door to Kingdom Hearts now, too.

All you need to do to beat him: Max out final form and use it.

P.S. I finished KH2 and defeated sephiroth and got Ultima Weapon and Fenrir :twisted:

I'm working on getting fenrir. I can get him to half heath then he kills me in 2 hits
