Please read this, it isnt the end of the world, but it is serious. Give me your thoughts on this.

Now, we dont know how it will take place, exactly when, for how long etc, but it will happen, and its possible its too late to reverse the effects. This is just something to think about seriously. Its everyones future here.

Does this mean you have to spend 20,000 and stock up on food, Gas, etc.. Nope.. only paranoid people will do it. :P

But when the times comes, it would be an idea to do that.

Anyways, give me your views, your thoughts etc.

hahaha i can understand that.. but if the climate changes in a way, similar to the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" its not going to be cool having 20+ feet of snow and -150fahrenheit temperatures :P (-101.1 celsius)

Only problem is, we dont know how its going to change, and which places will be affected the most. :(

There was a program on this last year. Most of England would be under water. Including my house.

And a current going by England that aparently somehow affects our summers and makes it hotter will stop flowing. Which means it willg et very very VERY cold here.

Soo basicly Englands screwed.

I live in New York, and I fear this thing to come, because I watched The Day After Tomorrow, or whatever it was called, oh man...

I hate it when people make money off of making natural disaster movies...

Woo i like the cold.

My house is safe. We're up on a large hill. And in a relatively highland area.

And yes, i do think it is too late for the earth. We're all going to die.

And its all because Bush wont sign the Kyoto agreement. But its also because of every other country in the world that pumps Carbon Dioxide into the atmosphere.

Someone needs to find a fuel that doesnt use carbon. Then we'd all be saved. At least to an extent.

Actually to be quite honest i think by the time global warming really is a huge danger to us, we'll probably be able to move to the moon. Or maybe mars. Or maybe that new planet that they found that has the right conditions for life as we know it to live on.

If anyone has seen "The day after tomorrow" then let's hope that whatever happened in the movie won't happen to us....

That was a great movie. :P

That was a very interesting atricle. I have been curious when someone was going to think up something serious like this with the climate going all bad. I hope this will get people thinking straight so we can get our envoirnment healthy again.

Actually without carbon, none of us would be here :P.

As far as global warming, some say that it could just be a cycle and that the earth is going through. Past tempurates have some a cycle of high temperatures and low temperatures. Though I don't doubt either theory as to which they think might be the problem. With global warming, it melts the ice caps releasing more water into the oceans which would cause mass floods. As far as the current, it keeps england warm because water tempurate is more constant than air temperature.

Plant More Trees.

Plants breathe Carbon Dioxide and exhale Oxygen, so... Plant More Trees.

Carbon dioxide isn't bad. It's the monoxide that's bad.

(And other than natural disasters, there could be a nuclear war any minute, so.... *Shrug.*)

I think there's a chance that if the polar ice melted and flooded across the world, we would endure another ice age, which will eventually bring us back to the good ol' neolithic revolution. So maybe in a good million years we'll be back to this same round-table discussion.
