If Google made a computer brand and/or OS would you buy one?

As many have noticed I'm sure, Google has greatly moved up in business. They have many programs now. And to top it off, their stocks are at $390.43 a pop. That's nearly 15 times more than Microsoft!

So my question is, if Google made their own line of computers or even their own operating system, would you buy it? I think I would.

they already have. they teamed up with sun microsystems. google gets sun's java machines and google gets use their OS for google members. something around that. i believe there is a short story in one of the rsbandb updates

I wouldn't buy one. I have this computer guy i know you makes co,mputers and sells tem much cheaper than dell and other ones. I also get service with mine

I doubt I would. I might if it's the cheapest machine for its quality but I wouldn't rush to the gadget store the moment I got the news.

i like my compaq laptop because it was inexpensive (for a laptop

) and has some features that i like and use a lot

well i dont think i would. they would probably use SUN java only which means i would probably not be able to use microsoft virtual machine which is 20 times better than sun java

The price doesn't really mean much to me unless it is just too high. If the os and comp are good and its under 800 bucks or around there I might give it a try. My computer I have now is pretty good though so it would be a while until I try a new one.

I doubt I would buy it, MicroSoft has served me well so far so it would have to be a really great OS to make me change.
