This is odd...

After buying some soda and two limes I noticed that one of the bills I received had a red stamp around the Department of the Treasury seal. It says "Track This Bill" and below that is a web address which is largely illegible. The parts I can read are http://www.w******g*orge.com.

Anyone else have a bill with this stamp? Perhaps one on which the address is legible?

I've seen something like that before. It had the website but I can't remember what it was. The seal is fake anyways. Someone got ahold of the bill and made a fake stamp. The government wouldn't do that.

Thanks for the address. A month and a week ago this bill was in Lincoln Nebraska. Seems like an odd project, tracking cash, but oh well.

The point of that is just a "for fun" thing. It's just so you can see where that dollar bill of yours has been. It's nothing issued by the federal government.
