didn't say it was a fact o.O lol but ok um... a nicer way to put it. I dislike rap because I feel the young men and women who sing about it just do it to seduce themselves into the real world. In *almost* every song they talk about nothing but hooking up with those chicks at the club... gettin down dirty... gettin into someone's pants... etc. But rock, on the other hand, gives stories of life, misery, pain, happiness, love, hate, and almost everything else under the sun. Rock isn't viewed upon by most people as a genre all about... intercourse... as rap is to me.
So... there's another way of saying rap = crap

Rap isn't crap.
Rap is dead.
This new rap (souljah boy and ****) is just club music that killed rap. You don't know **** about rap. It's just a phase rap is going through (club music , sell outs) so please don't say rap is crap because you don't know what the **** you're talking about.
I agree, rap is dead, or 3/4 dead anyways. Even some Christian bands raped. (that's not rape in the past tense is it?)
My dad gave me this cd of DC Talk, I loved it, and it was Christian rap. (Correct me if I'm wrong, that it's rap)
I'm glad you brought up the fact that club music today is regularly confused with rap zvono.
Anyways, if you don't like rap, listen to DC Talk before you make any final decisions. =D
