Haha, I know what you mean. Yeah, I don't like having to read at the same time. I can't imagine trying to multitask while watching one of those films either.. :oops:

I prefer not to have subtitles in a film, but choosing between subtitles and not watching foreign movies at all, I definitely can live with subtitles. There are so many great foreign movies which haven't been translated into English, that to miss them would be a stubborn (or maybe even stupid) self-limitation.
I am not saying American/English movies are bad - there are tons of good movies, but if you are looking for a slow, kind and 'thinking' movie, you have a better chance looking for a foreign one.
