US schools ban tag

Same here..except in my school we never ran, we had to walk

Omg like literally WTF, you hear on the news that young kids are becoming more and more obese. Why the hell ban them from running around at recess. Stupid morons is what they are. I think someone said this earlier, who ever is in control is to dam lazy to look at the long term effect.

Sorry, but I was a little bit speechless there for a moment. They banned tag?!?! Those kind of games are growing up for everyday life of a child, and that is just rediculous. We all get hurt really bad at some point in our lives. I mean, I admit that I've never had any broken bones, but my bell has still been rang quite a few times, if you know what I'm saying. It was probably a parent who sued the schools becuase thier kid got a "boo-boo".

Oh, and I also know that they won't be putting swing sets in public parks in the US anymore, becuase some kid fell off of one and got hurt. An overly protective grandparent complained about it. That really is sad, I always loved jumping off a swing and landing on my butt, then getting back up to do it again when I was younger.
