Sony May Post Biggest Loss in 4 Years on PS3 consoles

Hopefully they're introducing price-cuts, so more people buy consoles, so more game developers make games for PS3, so it'll sell better.

For now, it just downright sucks.

Game Developers don't make games for the PS3 cause it's difficult to do. Several game makers have said it's very difficult to make games for and yeah, add on the fact the 360 is getting all it's decent games with better online support.

There just sorta..getting out done.

Yes, I think the PS3 is going to fall to the 360. I don't know personally, but I have heard that the graphics are the same if not worse than the 360. There will only be two major competitors left if sony falls: Nintendo and Microsoft (My money's on Microsoft :wink:

I really don't like the Playstation2 and the Playstation3 very much... The X-Box360 is probbaly better than all other consoles (that are out, currently. INCLUDING Playstation3).

I bet the X-Box360 is chosen over all other consoles by gamers.

really isnt a suprise playstation 3 is a huge let down, personally i was a huge fan of the playstation and playstation 2 but i wont be buying a ps3, only reason i was considering was to get resident evil 5 when its released but i think ill just get a 360 instead

PlayStation all the way for me. When I have the money, or my parents buy it for me, I want to get the PS3, I've played on it over a mates house, and it was awesome.

I have never owner a Xbox, but I've played on them before, and I didn't like it, the controllers were hard to operate and I just didn't like the way some of the games played on it.

360 is doing well, especially with Gears of War, and later on in the year Halo 3 will skyrocket 360 sales probably.

Yes, many people bought original Xbox just for Halo 1 and 2. The same thing will probably happen again. The only thing I don't like as an Xbox person is I don't get the Final Fantasies

From what ive heard Final Fantasy XIII is going to be released on the 360

Good chance of the 360 getting FF and MGS because of how poorly the ps3 is selling, they shipped i think it was 82k units last month which is dam terrible for a console, the old old old GBA outsold it rotfl

Square and konami are looking for money not loyalty, they wont release a game that they can't make a profit on..so it may go multiplatform. Wii is still selling like crazy..but tbh, it's not even in competition with the 360 or ps3, games like MGS couldn't run on the wii as it is, aiming for completely different audiences tbh

The only reason I would get a PS3 is to play any games Naughty Dog and Insomniac make, otherwise I'm not blowing $600 more.
