If I were president, I'd forbid late-term abortions, women in combat (a conservative idea, but I think that the majority of women aren't psychologically able to handle combat), allowing foreigners to adopt children from my country (children should stay in their country of origin), and low-cost medical care that is government-regulated.
There is a low-cost government-regulated in the United States, just that the rich people won't know about it. Remember, government will never pay for health care for everyone, you either have to pay taxes or monthly fees. There is a government managed health care system in Taiwan, the only possible health care company, and the government agency is seriously in debt. If people really want to do this, there must be a very good plan for this, or else you would have people cheating on the system.
