I was listening to a recent episode of PCMag Radio a couple of days ago (it's a tech podcast) and one of the guys on it was talking about the new Beatles Rock Band. But that's just preamble.

Anyway, this guy, it turned out, is a member of a rock band, called Mere. I went to their website (mere.net) and found a link to their The Sixtyone page (http://www.thesixtyone.com/mere/) and immediately loved their music. They're semi-professional still, but have supported the likes of Oasis in concert!

Head over to http://www.thesixtyone.com/mere/ and you'll see the tracks from their third album, "Switches and Dials", on the right. They're ranked in order of popularity and I personally think the top three are the best. You'll also see a "next" button under the fifth track. P.S. "Circles" is also excellent.

Cool, man. I listen to mostly Hip Hop myself (Mos Def, Talib Kweli, The Roots, Lupe Fiasco, Gangtarr, A Tribe Called Quest, M.F. Doom, to name a few) but I appreciate all music. Mere is pretty good, reminds me of Matchbox Twenty, good, meaningful rock. Good find.

The singer has a fantastic voice, even though this isn't really my type of music. Great find!
