Hard to think he died in a plane crash 13months after this at the age of 22.

Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him as the 13th greatest artist of all time.

The Beatles got their name from Buddy's band " The Crickets "
The Beatles first song ever recorded was a Buddy Holly Cover.
