At last, there is a solution!

Simply purchase the Bank Booster +50 from my store and, the next time you log in, take a moment to inspect your bank. You’ll observe that an additional 50 spaces have become available to you! This marvellous item works in exactly the same manner for members and non-members. Indeed, up to 5 bank boosters can be purchased from my boutique, totalling 250 fantastic additional bank spaces, available to all!

What’s more, in consideration of our most loyal adventurers, in the coming weeks the bank booster will also be available not only from my boutique, but also from the Loyalty Shop.

I didn't mind Solomon's store until now because it was simply cosmetic items, but looks like the adding of advantages from the store has begun. It was only a matter of time. I really hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

It is a sign. I expect more similar updates in the future.

Membership now doesn't even give you the best banking options... Pathetic.

Well... you guys get some points for it being bank space. :/ Minus a million for selling it in SGS, let alone for IRL cash

Now I am in a dilemma. I have been complaining about bank space for months now and had even written a quest based around the banking system in Runescape with the main reward being an additional 40 bank spots. I really, REALLY want extra space, but I have vowed not to take any in-game advantages that are offered for real world cash. I am going to have to think long and hard about this one. I have never really had any issue with the SoF or Solomons for that matter, since it is pretty much cosmetic and the amount you would have to spend for the xp lamps given on SoF to make any real difference is not going to be feasible for anyone, but this update puts the ball in a whole new court.

I don't mind the idea of buying additional bank space using loyalty points, but through SGS... nah. That's just not right in my eyes. So now instead of becoming a member to get additional bank space you can just pay money.

Remember when the CEO of Jagex called Microtransactions a "stealth tax"? :---)

Do you guys remember when they said the ******* store would only ever be cosmetic items? :---)

Are you noticing how there slowly introducing more and more? :] First they bring in purely cosmetic, then they introduce real advantages but it's ok because you can earn it other ways next you'll find them charging you for quests but it's ok because the reward is nothing significant. ;]

Downhill from here! Everyone that's jumping ship should do so.

"...I just want to clarify some things that might be useful here.

SoF and MTX updates have given us the ability to invest heavily in our content team updates. I do understand that recently some people feel there has been less updates and more promotional ones. I get that. But please do not for a second think that the content updates are not going to benefit. The content specific team (the team that deal with quests and Al kharid updates etc) has grown massively (I want to say doubled but I am not 100% sure and they aren't all here to go count heads). :P

The developers working on content are not the same people working on SoF and MTX. SoF and MTX *DO NOT* effect the content release schedule and instead is a benefit to it.

I know you don't get to see some of the future updates but there is a lot of stuff in the pipeline which will get people really excited but I have to be bold and say that SoF and MTX allows us to do that. These types of updates are ones that I know the community will love.

I do also get that people think that there are a lot of promotional newsposts, that is true and the feedback has been heard. However, remember that promotions etc do need to be ... promoted? Ultimately these additions are there for people if they want to participate.

On the content side all I can say is there are some really exciting projects in the works and I am sure you will all get more information on these soon."

I think this is a great idea. Doesn't majorly impact the game, but is a "perk" beyond a cosmetic item. No unfair advantage, just less frustration when bank space is low.

I like even better that you will be able to use loyalty points soon. It doesn't matter how much it is - so long as every paying player can get them, I'm on board.

Simply should be covered by the membership fee. And is a lot of money - aprox 32/33 pound to gain an extra 250 bank slots! But it was fairly obvious this sort of thing would come. More to follow soon. A lot more I suspect than decently developed content.
