This is a folow up to the farming update and might explain the lag

We have identified a few balancing issues with the farming skill today and have changed the digging up of patches. You will no longer be able to dig up healthy crops until they are fully grown. Please remember that there are several different types of each patch for your use.
Also, we are aware that some of you may well be experiencing a lag on the servers. The release of the eagerly awaited farming skill has resulted in many players out there trying to download the update at once. This in turn is causing an element of lag on the systems.

Our teams are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it a soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience.

And now it takes hundreds of times longer to train the skill, all for the measly 10 or so exp from potatoes!

They say that there are numerous types of patch but it's going to cost a bomb for the laws to teleport back and forth to keep your plants happy and healthy!

At level 20 - I've given up for now on rs the lag is killing my poor 56k i will come back tommorrow when the americans are asleep..and everyone else is working/school.

Exactly what I'm going to do, but at 2am BST (WWE RAW's on too!)

I managed to find the hop place a lot less laggy. SO now I'm trying to make my own ale. This is difficult! Finally a skill that's tasking.

I'm almost 50 farming and I'm bored to death now... too repetative going from crop to crop. Going to quit at 50 for quite some time I think.

Im stopping at either 40 or 50 PERIOD... This gets old.

Bad part is I get excitied when they get diseased... Adds some excitement!

My crops always die... i'm too lazy to collect the stuff to pay the farmers, but I do use compost. And do use the flowers to protect the crops properly... oh well only 1 more level till 50 and I QUIT.

What crops are you growing? Most of mine (95 percentish) normally make it if i use the compost, flowers and water all of them before i log off...

I tryed everything... my corn even died with a scarecrow and compost... and yes i did water it lol

Watermelons died when i used nasturtiums... whatever I'm 50 farming I quit.
