Right now with the Battle of Lumbridge, we got Saradomin and Zamorak fighting it out. What do you hope will be the outcome of this battle? Who do you hope comes in next? What do you hope will be the ultimate resolution of the new age of god wars? and why?

I really like how Guthix was portrayed in the World Wakes quest and how he emphasized that the gods will only cause problems for the world. I agree with his point of view and it makes "The Godless" seem like the best faction to side with since he did not want to be worshiped. But after-all, this is a game, and if these battles end with all the gods banished from Gielinor or dead, I feel that the game wouldn't be as exciting after that happens as it could be if some of the gods were still around and stories were developed with them.

Zaros coming back would be interesting because not much is known about him, and he used to be the most powerful god. I'm sure he'll find a suitable body to one again be that powerful. We currently have ancient curses and spells that were used by his followers, so would followers of Zaros receive more powers from him if he were to return?

I still need to read more on the history before I can really decide what I'd like to happen. What do you guys think?

The future of Gielinor will be placed within our hands. Those who have finished the world’s wake quest will know that they are now a deity. With divination now out, it would be good if some future quest allows us to explore ourselves and reach our potential. The last quest that came out showed that while Saradomin cannot do anything against our will, he still has the power to hurt us. I believe what will happen is we’ll end up having to pick a side, either me good, bad or as neutral as possible.
I think when battle for Lumbridge is done, Zaros and Armadyl will start making their appearance. Either they will work together (enemy of my enemy) remains to be seen. Divination is supposed to help with non-combat skills, but I think we should expand on its scope. Story wise, we are gathering Guthix’s memories so it would be interesting to continue to have some of the flash backs from the past. We also should be discovering ourselves and decide how we use our power. NPCs may also start to follow us for being the savior, or the supreme overlord of a new world order. It would add some interesting content into the game.
Overall, what I would like to see a grandmaster quest that brings all of the quest and skills we have together. A massive quest where we fight the gods, explore the deep ocean in scuba gear, enroll the elves in an epic battle for good or evil, use the wealth from our Kingdom to prepare the army, call out for heroes from around the globe and have our own swan song. The elven lands is still much unexplored, so is the other desert town and in the dwarven caves. more quest should start appear to explore those areas and in time also show how powerful we have become. A grandmaster quest that encompasses everything that we have done would be a great asset for everybody.

I'm interested to see what Jagex has in store for the zenith of the battle. Honestly, I would have a bit of trouble playing if sara or zammy were completely gone. I ultimately hope that this battle ends in both gods surviving, but only one thriving. Additionally, I'd love to see more power realized inside the player. I don't want to just be a cheerleader for a god, I want to have the opportunity to lead. I, like most, am excited to see the return of the Empty Lord, and I look forward to the rumoured "Missing Presumed Death" quest in which both Sliske and Ichthlarian are featured. Unless Jagex's story dev team has really screwed the pooch, the future of Runescape looks bright!

I'm sitting here, as a follower of Seren, twiddling my thumbs and waiting to see how the Elves will react to the reintroduction to Gielinor. Will we try to bring our Crystalline Goddess back to the realm, or sit here and simply hope that the other Gods and their armies kill themselves off? The answer is simple to me, we must try bring together the shards of our Goddess.

I seriously hope your grandmaster quest doesn't get made, Trekkie. It would signal the "end" of the game, and I don't want that. I've played this game too long for there to be a message at the end of a quest to read "Congrats! You're supremely powerful and there's no more epic storyline to tell! You win!".

I don't want to see that Grandmaster quest, either, Trekkie... The thing I love about this game is that it just keeps going; there is no end in sight, and hopefully it will remain that way. I enjoy going on and having a variety of different choices of things I can do. If I want to go battle monsters, I can; if I want to just kick back and fish, or cut wood, or mine and watch youtube while I train, I can do that too. I think that is the thing that makes this game unique. You can go as fast or as slow as you want and set your own goals. If they ever released that quest, I would lose my quest cape... I would never do it. I don't want to become a God; I just want to kick back and continue enjoying this game for as long as I can.
