A scroll bar in skills...could it happen

could jagex make enough skills that the stats page will require a scroll bar?i mean their is one spot left and i think carpentry is going to be there.

thats very possible because Jagex is strongly expected to release 2 new skills (carpentry and farming) so that would be too many skills to fit on the one rectangular space they keep the skills on...so yea very possible

it will take awhile for those skillz, programming it, testing it, fixing bugs and so on.. i think its too soon for 2 new skillz or even 1 new skill

I think it is possible in the future....that there will be more skills than will fit in the box. However, I agree with czskrazzi that it will probably be a while before that happens.

Or maybe they'll make each skill icon smaller. A scroll bar might be possible.

No.. Go look at Magic Menu, you don't need to scroll down to check do you? The Exp box stays right down there. Don't have to worry about that.

They probably will put a scroll bar in, or maybe a new "page" like the magic list, with the normal magics and the ancient magicks.

New skills and be good and bad at the same time.

Think of it as a whole new area of RS to uncover, but also, it can ruin other skills at the same time.

For example, before RC came out, the prices of runes like laws, nats and the rest were stable, might be higher then what it is now or lower, but they stayed the same for months and months. Now, the prices are never the same for more then a week before it drastically changes.

This might happen to woodcutting, fletching and firemaking when "carpentry" comes out, because it all relies on logs.

Well, they had Slayer out in the first place, don't expect it to come out in 2 months from now.

understand that the programming for this is extremely hard. Obviously its gonna be big, more than likely gonna release both skillz at once, also with lots of new items and areas. Also they cant put a house per person... Here is an example of how i think they will do it..

In Horror Of The Deep Quest, people that have completed the quest have access to the dagganoths where you fight the mother dagganoth..

People who have not completed it, when they enter the dagganoth cave, they dont see what ppl would see if they had completed it.. I believe they will do this with player houses, have 1 or maybe more house, and its like its making a new layer each time.
If it was the same as the dagganoths, lots of ppl would be in the same house as you.. Also there are over 500,000 people that play runescape.. and at least 50,000 would be members, so, umm yeah, 50,000 houses? i dont think so..lol

i think they will make the skills smaller so that a scroll bar wont need to be added...i dunno bout everyone else but i reckon it would be a fat pain to have to scroll to see your exp everytime. even tho im not a member...yet...i reckon carpentry and farming will be awesome awesome cool cool...they sound like pretty sweet skills. would take alot to get them up to id expect. but also it would be best to keep in mind that they arent gonna bring them out anytime soon...maybe like the end of this year if that. programming and testing etc. takes ages and they wouldnt want to mess it up with something as anticipated as a new skill...id say slow down and stop expecting unless of course zezima gets 99 sooner than they bring it out lol
