Runescape on the wii =)

I think RS on the Wii would be fun. You would buy a free channel in WII shop. A button would be regular :kite:

B would be menu zoom around with control pad and u could click on the menu what do you think????

it would be tiring holding your hand up while playing ... and alot harder such as using right click and stuff like that... and as earth said talking, but what i would like to see is a totally new controll system on something like the xbox 360 :shock:

How would that work though? I don't really see a way you could put a keyboard onto the wiimote and if you added another device it would essentially be a computer

A wii already is a computer. There are keyboard addons for the ps3 and 360 so why not for the wii? Who said anything about adding it onto the wiimote?

Well it just wouldn't be worth it. I wouldn't play it on the wii even if I had one, it's just too much trouble when a computer makes things 10x easier. Having it on more consoles for the sake of it is kinda pointless, unless you want to make more money, but Jagex are doing fine as it is anyway.

It sounds like fun but there is the problem of no keyboard. It would get tiring holding it up while grinding a skill like mining or summoning with lots of clicks. The only thing you would use it for would be to do stuff with a clan or friends and so we get back to the keyboard problem.

The reason lots of people are hopeful about Runescape coming to consoles is because they aren't able to play is on the computer as much as they like, often do to parents. Runescape on the wii would be kind of cool but I playing it on the computer would be much more efficient. The point and click aspect works nicely for the wii although and chat would be easy with a wireless keyboard add-on.

Cant you just plug in a USB keyboard into the back of the Wii where the usb add-ons are?

Yep, I think they have that feature although if they don't I'm sure they could implement it rather easily

Maybe if I wanted just to relax and skill this would work...but NO ONE is going to do GWD with such an inaccurate system such as the Wiimote.

Wiimote is actually really good if you set it up right.

I guess inaccurate wasn't the right word. I feel like it would be too difficult to right-click Bandos, eat to heal, switch prayers, etc. with the Wiimote
