The Complete Redo of RuneScape.

Do not talk about the graphical update. I am talking about the website design.

A complete graphical rework you say? In a new detail? Well that is a new detail, but a complete graphical rework of """RuneScape"""
RuneScape is the whole website as in http://www.runescape.com The forums, main page, The Knowledge Base, every article, and so forth.

In this article it is only talking about a new detail, but now I'm thinking that it might be something bigger than that. They don't say RuneScape 2, RuneScape 3, but they say RuneScape.

So to sum it up, it might not just be a new detail, but a new web design. What do you think?

interesting more and more of images of future i see more conserned i am that i wont be able to play rs

its great ect but not for ppl whit low abilities pc...well rs will be in a same lvl as WoW or so after these updates go jagex

i can't wait to lag more than I already do. If they can do it without much lag then im all for it since lets face it, it needs doing.

I think they said that it would be a detail setting so you still should be able to play it on a slower pc.
I think this will be awesome, especially because i just got a new computer and will still probably be able to multi task!

I think the graphics will be good because, they can't get worse, can they? But seeing those screenshots, they might be the only part that's good, so we have to wait and see

The backgrounds look very good, but I'm a little concerned about the character models, they don't seem to have improved. Where are the eyes, the noses, the ears... the mouths? :-({|=

good idea by jagex but there should still be the same version as now for bad pcs

Not really sure of what to think from this article.

It seems a little ridiculos to think that Jagex would change every aspect of the game and everything. My bet would be that this is not happening.

So Jagex said "Runescape" and not "Runescape 2." So what? Jagex never says a number after runescape and I think that they don't have to. I know nobody who plays Runescape Classic anymore so why should they?

Well, this idea happening is very possible. Jagex has kept things hidden from us before, or have not told us all that was going to happen. Now that you mention it, they didn't say the update was specifically for the game itself. If they do happen to suprise us one more time and change the look of the website, it will be great.

Overall, I say congrats to Jagex for finally improving the graphics again; I absolutely can't wait.

as usual, will be a huge letdown.

fullscreen? once you get tired of that gimmick you start realising you cant multitask anymore.

graphics overhaul? looks like they just added textures and shadows to me. in other words just more unneeded graphics adding on to the lag.

i dont expect any old players to return because of this, since if they're into a game with bad graphics, wouldn't you think they don't give two **** about the graphic update?

However i see it as a stunt to convert more f2pers to p2p, another part of jagex's attempt to get back the members they have lost.

full screen will be a waste. I like RS to be in its one little area, and that area alone.
