What are your 5 favourite and least favourite RS updates?

Baring in mind I have only played for a couple of years. Mine are... (In no particular order.)

1. Achievement capes - You get to show other people how much effort you (may have) put towards a skill or questing.

2. Clan Chat/New RS Interface - Great way to not only communicate with people in your clan, but also a great way to talk to friends and host events with them as well. Interface looks good too, messages can be filtered and more message space.

3. King's Ransom - Quest was okay. Piety I was happy about, I was able to fight well against rune pures with 90+ Attack and Strength and 52 Prayer.

4. Recipe For Disaster - I procrastinated with that quest but I finished it and the rewards were brilliant. The quest was fun as well. (Except saving Evil Dave. xD)

5. The Grand Exchange - I was able to sell the remainder of my stuff on DS with ease.

Least Favourite... (In no particular order)

1. Wilderness Changes/Bounty Hunter etc. - Ruined the game for the majority of the Runescape community in an effort to prevent rule breaking.

2. Wilderness Ditch - It didn't affect me that much, it slowed down Runecrafting by a tiny bit. May have been helpful to noobs but I wasn't the one who could get lured.

3. Barbarian Assault - I really didn't like this minigame. It took me quite a while to get 375 points in Attack. I just couldn't be bothered to finish the other roles.

4. Holiday Updates - Recently, all holiday updates (that I've participated in) have been quite disappointing. The last one I remember doing that I enjoyed was Christmas a couple of years back with the huge tree in Varrock.

5. Party Room Update - Now the only way to host a drop party is by unintentionally inviting the rest of the world.

Clan Name: Rsbandb! All the way!
5 FAVORITE:

1: Barrows. Lovely magic training, and it's something I can do long-term without an adrenaline rush.

2: One Small Favor: ... really. I loved the idea. I never thought I would stop laughing with each person I spoke to! I hope they do it again!

3: Barbarian Assault. I love direct, co-op games. Enough said. Kinda wish you get exp with the other 3 skills, though ...

4: Pest Control: ... don't give me that look. I'm unique, in my thoughts, and everything. It's easier now.

5: The Wilderness / Trade Update: Gives me a chance to stand out and take Jagex's side, knowing that even though we paid a price, we're gonna get wicked-awesome updates in the future with more available Jagex staff! Oh, and monsters, I can handle. Pkers, I can't.

5 HATED:

1: ... hmm ... hard to say. Can I come back to it? ... no? Ok, then. I'll have to go with the warped tortoise and terror-bird slayer assignments then. I HATE those ...

2: Hunter. Not really into it.

3: Those icon graphics updates. Sort of takes away from the realism the rest of the screen portrays.

4: Devious Minds quest. Seriously ... what the heck? Introduce a new weapon, one with amazing potential, and then completely remove it?

5: Trouble Brewing. Obsolete location, never anyone there playing, and the exp isn't even all that good. Though I gotta admit, it's there, unlike SOME mini-games ...

Best

1. RS2 - Frankly, i'm suprised nobody else mentioned this.
2. Achievement Capes - They are cool ..
3. Castle Wars - Lots of fun when I want a break from training.
4. Pest Control Death - No more pc products. Good.
5. Grand Exchange - Easy to clear bank of junk.

Worst

1. Pest Control - Changed training methods for ever, until they killed it 8)
2. Staking update - I used to enjoy staking a lot, now Jagex butchered it.
3. No drops over 3k come Jan - I used to enjoy drop parties, even if I never got anything.
4. Party Room - ^
5. SOME of the graphics updates - I really miss the old look in some places (Falador :()

Favorite (no order):

The Abyss (this made runecrafting one of my favorite skills)
Hunter (this is my favorite skill)
Ancient Magicks (made it easier to abyss craft, since pkers with ancients could teleblock)
Allowing you to change your Family Crest gauntlets (not a big thing, but better than most stuff)
Making dueling f2p (it'd have been better if they hadn't removed staking)

Least Favorite

Pure Essence (seriously, like all of your anti cheating updates, this did nothing to the cheaters, hindered the real players)
The whole 3,000 thing (stupid heads)
The wilderness change (stupid stupid heads)
Farming (besides Shane and his people, no one likes this skill)
Creating Evil Bob (I have a whip, why can't I strangle this cat with it?)

Favourite:

1. Runecrafting and Run (Only things I liked about rs2)
2. Auto-mining (how you don't have to click everytime after you miss a rock)
3. The "X" updates. (i.e, fletch X logs, cook X trout, etc)
4. World 16 (66 if I were a member)
5. Achievement capes

Hate:

1. RS2 (Classic was so much more fun for me)
2. Getting rid of boneyard (I mean w..t..f? Now how can I train f2p prayer?)
3. Max Net wealth of 3k (ruins runecrafting and getting birthday gifts)
4. Random randoms...
5. Phat, xmas cracker, Halloween mask, bunny ear events...

Don't really care:
Grand exchange (faster, but really doesn't reflect true prices. Too much gov. intervention...)
