granite shield vs rune shied?

It depends on what your fighting.

Vs. Rangers:
Granite

Vs. Melee:
Rune kite

Granite because it looks better than Kite.
They're basically the same because Granite is good against Rangers and Kite is better for Meleers.

granite looks cooler and is better against rangers but kite has beter stats against melee and granite weighs more.

If you had to choose one, you'd most likely pick the Granite Shield.

Why?

It's only a few points ( 1 - 5 ) behind the Rune Kiteshield and it gives +60 or so Range Defence, so it's very good against Rangers.

but, it's weighs more and stuff...I am not sure, I would choose both

yea granite does have its downside, but i felt like i wasnt hit as much by lessers with it, and when combined with a b axe and full rune/dragon it makes you look badass

I prefer rune kite but if you want more range defence use the granite.
