Anyone seen the new update?
"24 Carat Update"-
its called.
Strength bonus-7
Stab Attack, Slash Attack and Crush Attack bonus is -10
Stab Defence, Slash Defence, Crush Defence, Magic Defence and Ranged Defence bonus is -20
And it increases the amount of damage wearer does when wielding an obsidian melee weapon by 20%.

So, when using an obby melee weapon its like having a salve ammy (e) equipped whilst fighting undead + it has lots of bonuses, but reduces some bonuses of combat. Pretty good, I would say, I have been waiting for this update on enchanting. Alex 43, you should have made a nekclace now, instead of the ring xD ..

Get ready to see A LOT of 1 attack pures with 60 str+ and 25-31 pray in the next while.

And there's the staff, the knife and... I think that's it for obby weapons.

Aww. The "Only melee" defeats the sole purpose of obby weapons, well at least the worthwhile one. Obby rings I mean, if only it worked range staking would be awesome-er.

Range is strong enough at the moment. All they need is half-decent armour. =\

Theres a staff, knife, dagger, sword and I think thats it.

-.- obsidian required 60 attack, not 1 attack... the main reason they made this neclace was to provide incentive...

nobody really uses obsidian weapons. sure some people use them every once in a while, but overall they are outfought by the speed and specials of other weapons...

so what does this do? it makes your obby mace hit better than yoru d mace, even whiel spec-ing. it makes that obsidian knife(P++) do as much damage as the dds spec would.

it makes the special attack-less obsidian weaponry now vastly superior in terms fo hitting capabilities than dragon weapons are. i'd guess in june they'll update the tzhaar weaponry to provide more weapons, and expand the effect to cover them.

The Obsidian Maul takes 60 strength and there is no attack requirement...
That's exactly pures like Randomjoy, Ven--Hatred, I--Tyler--I were created. 1 attack 60+ strength.

All I know about this necklace is that it is a big waste of cash.

Obsidian weapons are totaly a waste, aswell. Nobody uses them anymore.

I wouldn't buy this if my life depended on it.
