Granite Legs Over Priced??

I think they are way over priced becuz i saw some goin for 3.8m in fally world 2 the other day and i thought that was crazy when the pl8 is only 95k

and that's true y not sell the legs at the minigame along with the pl8 and not just the pl8 becuz it needs to be sold as a set

The legs are an incredibly rare drop of the Skeletal Wyvern which is lvl 140 combat and uses both magic and melee. You can't use barrow armor there becuase you need a special shield, otherwise you get hit 40's. Oh and you need 72 slayer to actually hurt them.

They're rare. Good for 1m a piece. And now there's a higher demand so the price is high. Yeah, I would charge 3.6m if I get a drop like that from those monsters.

actually, 1m is twice the standard price. before the pl8 came out, everyone thought they were stupid because they wanted legs that could protect from melee combat, not ranged. before the g plate was released, you could only sell them for about 500k. price range was 400k to 600k. wait till the end of july, then the prices will stabilize at something manageable.

i predict somewhere around 700k...

Prices arn't based on the other piece of the set. Look at the dragon chain and dragon legs, its a big difference. The chains are rarer than the legs and therefore cost more.

The legs arent overpriced because everything has to be sold for higher prices

They are "overpriced" because no one cares about them and doesn't take the time to kill the Wyverns to get them.

Well, you got me interested in training for the 2 levels needed to fight those things.

But yeah, that's sort of understandable. I mean, for example, Torag barrows armor costs way less then Guthan, but has a much higher defense bonus and is just as rare. The only reason for the cost is the special bonuses.

Rarity, popularity, and special bonuses. That effects everything, doesn't it?

dont worry in a couple of months a new armour will be released and the granite armour will decrease dramitically

Granite legs are not that great. It cost 3.8 and Im sure that its less good than Dragon or Barrows. I dont like them and I think they are ugly lol.

If you were to spend a long time getting 72 slayer, then spend days killing the Wyverns and you finally get the drop, would you sell it for 100k? I wouldn't...

If a new armor were released, it would probably be good and maybe 80 defence requirment, so the people who would want the armor are people with barrow armor. The people who want granite probably have rune, not barrrow, so it wouldn't really do anything to the price.
