Races Added in Runescape?

IF they add specific race genres in, they should add a new quest for each race. for example, for the elf race. they make a new quest where you have to do something or other for the elves. part of the quest you have to look like an elf, so you get the elven ring when you wear the elven ring, and select "Morph" you become an elf. then after the quest is over you can keep the ring as it will never die out or lose charges. when u are morphed intop an elf, you can wear certain elven clothes and use certain elven weapons. this way, you don't have to be confined to one genre, if you wanna be a human you can be, by selcting "unmorph" they should make rings for all different races, including elves, goblins, ogres, and any other races cant think of any currently lol...anyone have any additions to this, or other ideas or thoughts?

but jagex, said that they will never do races. Even posting about it on the official forums is spam.

I'm just curious why Jagex said they would never do races.. It's like, you go to forums and click on the things not to suggest and all you get is a list of all the coolest things you could think of.

no but then you would look different, as an elf would look shorter and skinnier...and you can wear elven armor and wield elven weapons

Yeah, that would be cool, but I don't think Jagex would do that. All they want are the retarted quests and crazy items.

I would quit rs forever if they introduced different races that are too different to humans. It would make it too much like WoW.

At the moment, we're all human, all equal. Add the ability to become an ogre, and you'll have some people who look like ugly large idiots who cant fit through doors properly. I HATE what different races look like in WoW, and i really think it would ruin RS forever.

Elves i wouldnt mind too much, but i think only elves and humans. Make some things wieldable and usable by elves, and some only by humans. NO bonuses of any kind on stats, though. And switching between the two would not be easy, you cant just put on an amulet and *pop* you're a elf. It would have to be something like the makeover mage, just more expensive.

Maybe you could do it in MEP3, if it comes out, if you equipt an amulet of some kind. That would be cool.

I agree with masterofthevortex.

if jagex added races, it would be to much like WoW, which would ruin it. Why? because its very hard to make games like WoW. If we have completly different races, with skill bonuses and lossess, the wilderness and pk triangle would be completly destroyed. Maybe we could (expensivly) change our race for looks and (not powerful) weapons, but otherwise, what would the point be?
