Jagex: The Good, The Bad

So many threads about the goods and bads of Jagex are constantly cropping up around here, so I decided to try and combine them into one.
Do you hate Jagex, or are they the bees knees? (Figuratively speaking. That means good.)
And if so, why?
What have they done that has forced you to retire from Runescape, or what keeps you playing?
And lastly, the best and the worst things you think they've ever done.

a pain in the behind is the word filter, customer support, stupid pmods who mute people for saying "noob" idiot people who can't do anyrthing right in the company. still havn't learned how to stop people from hacking and scamming etc

Good: Game
Bad: word filter, hackers, ppl who take it so seriously :shock:

@ rsruners: The heck, we talk about Jagex, not about RuneScape.

Good: They've made a pretty good game and still accept quality abuse reports.
Bad: The word filter could've use a lot of work, and they should take the newly registered users to the manual and the terms of service page, WITHOUT ANY LINKS. So they will be forced to read them.

The worst thing they've ever done is updating the word filter, the best - inventing holiday events. They keep the F2Ps tuned.
I keep playing because it's addictive. And I still hope to become a member one day.

Good: The game itself + friends irl who play (more fun)
Bad: Word Filter (try speaking french and not being censored on a complete sentence, good luck!) and all the people that cheat making the game unfair for the real players.

So why did you talk about people who take it too seriously and hackers then?

On topic: If it's only about jagex, i would say..

Good: RuneScape
Bad: The other games they have made like Gold Mine that nobody will ever play... :twisted:

i like how they keep updates regular and good. well some are kinda usless . but w.e.

i dont like the supid bans. like that other guy on here who got banned for saying "what time is it there" when setting up a party, or how they gave me a ban (i got out of it) cause someone reported me cause i acidently fregot a 0 when buying d legs and they said i was scamming. but w.e. as long as it keeps the real scammers down.

Bad : What gaara said, the chat filter and THE BOTTERS I FREAKING HATE THEM THERE IS LIKE 1/5 OF PEOPLE IN THE HIGH SCORES IN WOODCUT AREN'T PEOPLE THEY'RE BOTS THERE SHOULD BE A MINIMUM COMBAT LEVEL TO CHOP YEWS AND WILLOWS I'M SO SICK OF THESE.

Also I have seen some botters at the flax field = P2P botters.

I really hate Jagex I got banned by a hacker who made sure I could not send another report. I was so sad. I had got so far. I will always hate Jagex since then.

Bad: they ban at anythingthat has to do with pass scamming...i mean i got banned for pass scamming when i was tlaking to my friend and said " hey can i have ur pass lol" wen i got the bann message it even said you were quoted as saying "hey can i have ur pass lol"

but idc i like the game
