I bet your that newb who stole frozens signature... anyway... you're right... f2p should have banners but nobodys making them.

I'm personally a f2p as you can see. I never complain about having banner ads..and i don't see anthing wrong with it...I think its even good to put it there.. that way more ppl will become a member if they don't like it (still don't see why we shouldn't like it)

The ads doesn't seem to be lagging for me.. and I think you misunderstood what I said.. I meant not having banner is a advantage of being a member.. It "HELPS"

You can, But im just saying if your not forced to have the banner and you dont want the banner.

Remove it:P

by having the banner there and on home page... all it gives are a folder of cookies-.-

p2p or not you still get annoyed by those flash banners on home page unless you never look at the news and have a custom client :wink:

Just delete ur cookie folder frequently, and shrink your browser to the size of just the game, so the banner won't show up.. easy as that, why need to make another browser?

Another browser to aviod the homepage.. or you could click a link to the world-.-

Why do all that when you can just hit a button and they gone.

Remember this whole thread is to help those who realy dont like the banners.

I play f2p very rarely now but everytime i get a flash banner or the banner changes it lags...

It helped me so i figure it would help others who have the same problem.

That might not solve anything else besides more threads and post counts.

Instead ill let them get the program instead of voting and posting.

Saves alot more:)

To be honest i dont care who likes and dislikes banners:) but i care that alot of people who dislike them should be able to rid them.. and since jagex allows that then why not?

For jagex putting ads on there website and on runescape earns them money. Members pay jagex money to play an enhanced and updated version of runescape so thats why members dont have the ad banners and free players do. Because they are earning money from it.
