Ever wonderd what Keeps you playing runescape....?

One day you wake up get on runescape and see 70000 people playing

and then the next day its still 70000.... do you wonder why them 70000 people don't go and do somthing else? what do jagex put in runescape to make it this adictive..?

i think its a mix of everything. i remember back when i first started when it was a competition between me and my friends, to whoever could get the highest combat level and the most money by the end of the first 3 weeks of playing. Well i won with the highest combat level (19 lol),but my friend won the money challenge with 1750 gold coins :cry:

i thought i would win with my 1200 GP, lol. Great memories...wow i got side tracked.....

I quit when i was level 50, then the wanting of getting higher total skill made me came back
I quit when i was 70 again, then i got members for 3 month and came back
I quit again when i was 83, then i got someone to work for me, so i can earn money, then i came back, and that's right now..

I have to tell you this is a hard one...I have no answer definately for i asked myself the same question one or two times. It is not having fun i no that for sure. There have been moment when the game really disgusted me like when i'm killed, hacked etc. At moments like these i say i'm quiting the game and i successfully do. For a couple of hours aneway

.What does really keep you people playing runescape? Personaly i dunno i guess i'm hooked.
