2. Hallberb

The Hallberb is a good weapon because its powerfull and can do some good damage. But, its unaccurate.

To smith a Halberb, you will need 4 bars, considering that rune Halberbs go for 50k. This would make it about 52k to make so people couldnt make large ammounts of money off of it.

Also, you will not have to do a quest to smith Hallberbs all though you will have to be a member to make them.

3. Pick Axes

Pick axes, as you all should know, are used for getting ores from rocks. These also are not prefered for combat.

Pick axes should be about 3 bars to smith so people who can smith rune picks dont make large amounts of money, same as the Hallberb. It will cost about 39k to make this item.

Last, there will be a p2p quest called Broken Axes.
The quest will be described in greater detail in the next post.

4. Quest

Broken Axes. Broken axes is a quest that is sort of a *equal to Doric's Quest. At the end, Doric rewards you with the ability tofix broken axes and hatchets at the ability to smith pick axes!

The locatiosn are just north of Falladore in Doric's house.
Also, you will need to go into the Elemental workshop to smith an Elemental ore.

people already make a lot of money from rune hatchets so who cares if they make some with pickaxe? Nobody would make a pick with 3 bars

I don't think it would unbalance anything.. People say that about every update, just watch after Jagex puts in the new prayers.. All the "The economy is going to crash" threads on Runescape forums after they put in carpentry was quite annoying as well.

No opinion on the suggestions though, your better off posting on the Runescape forums.. Jagex actually reads suggestions there.

Not the best idea I've ever heard, but I'm not going to be too hard on it. I'd suggest sending it as a suggestion to Jagex since Jagex acually listened to me one time when I suggested white knight armor for players.

Suggestion - learn to type. It's "halberd", not "hallberb". Another suggestion - forget about it, Jagex will never do that, even if you'll bring all of the players to their forums and demand that. And the final suggestion - don't think about impossible things like this in the future.

i believe that the pick axes were smithable in RSC. it was removed for RS2. i don't think that there is a need to smith rune picks, the current supply is more than enough. there are member quests that reward a rune pick on completion. the rock golem (random event) drops a rune pick (rare item).

I don't agree with the Halberds. It would mess it up a lot. The pickaxes would be okay with 2 bars, and I don't agree with 'Broken Axe'.

I think they should make the pick for 1 bar.. anyway people sell it for 20k. But it would mess up the price of the halberts if they were smithable

well you would have to make the pickaxe and wc axe handles to (when they comne apart you know you got the head and the handle) maybey this could be a magic log? that would raise them by 1k
