Ok, if you think you have a keylogger on your computer, here's a way to get around it. You can use the handwriting tool on your computer. It'll type into runescape as you draw your characters on the pad. however, if you have really bad handwriting, you can use the on-screen keyboard. It'll make your password virtually like a bank pin. I just tried theis method, and it will actually log me on to my account

Thats a good way to be safe. I don't think anyone will want to have to write their name and password to log in every time also. Most of the time people don't know if they have a keylogger, thats why they are successful at stealing passwords.

But your suggestions would do the trick. :P

If you KNOW that you have a keylog...another solution would be to delete it. :o

keyloggers info can only be on the computer the guy typed the password. so only type with virtual keyboard when you're in a friend or public computer.

am i wrong?

i think you're thinking about physical keylogggers betweent the computer and the keyboard. Also, i know i have a keylogger, but I can't find it and delete it

Its a smart idea but people are lazy..I don't think they would want to do that every time to log in :P
And what Robbie said is what you should always do if you know you have a keylogger :p

That's a pretty slick idea. But I doubt I'll use it ever. I don't think I'd get a keylogger so easy.

I use the On Screen Keyboard every time I log in. It's the only way I feel safe, and sometimes Spyware Searches aren't quick enough. So unless you run Spyware searches everytime you log on to your computer, before you do anything else, it would be wise to use the On Screen Keyboard. That's just my opinion. However it can get annoying if you have friends over or something, you have to kick them out of the room for a minute.

Keyloggers only detect what is typed in from the keyboard. Not what is clicked on by the mouse.

Yeah seems that a good way, but it seems like it will be a pain in the butt. :(
