best thing to do: have private chat on friends only always. that way, if u want someone to talk to u by way of pm, u have to add them urself b4 u can do so

It eliminates them adding u.

But i think they are funny, look at this conversation I had once (and yes, ne spelling errors in this are sposed to be there

):

Me: Arrgggh not another lvl 3 beggar!
Beggar: Can i have some armer plz?
Me: No i have no money.
Beggar: PLZ? PLZ? PLZ? PLZ?
Me: Cant u see i'm only lvl 2??? Cmon, only a stupid guy would look at my combat lvl and actually believe it!
Beggar: But that means i'm a higher lvl than you!
Me: Yea so can i have some armer plz?
Beggar: but but but but.....
Me: PLZ? PLZ? PLZ? PLZ?

THe beggar now walks away, stunned or logs out

Rofl one actually believed me and gave me a bronze med helm lol

If they cuss me out, I'm sure to report them. If it is at a place where you can attack multiple enemies, and they are asking for free jargon, I'll attack whatever they're killing to annoy them and they'll eventually leave. If they're asking for money, the first thing I do is put them on ignore list. I could fill my ignore list in less than ten minutes if I played in Free to Play worlds with all my armor on.

This is what i do to get rid of a begger:

Go to the nearest guild.

Go to the top level of that guild.

Teleport away

setting them to tasks can be useful. I had one collecting cowhides for me, for around 10gp each. Dirt cheap. I could have got them for free by collecting them myself, but I couldn't be bothered.

But the other day one was following me and I wasn't paying attention (i was trying to sort out my sig). I was on my way to Mosseys for training, eventually realised as I passed the lvl 24 zombies. I warned him to run, the fool ran the wrong way. Deadly red spider took him out in two. I almost felt guilty, but I didn't do it deliberately.

I don't encounter too many beggars... mostly because I walk around in Iron/No armor. But i've been fishing lately and if someone asks for food, I usually give them a bit.

Just one thing to remember, don't fight them, always do the smart thing like teleport, log out, hire them, or something else that'll benefit you.. because if you fight with them like calling them names, you'll be reported... and you really don't want to ban your account just on a noob
